The criteria for qualifying for the Check Safety First website are fundamentally simple. The establishment concerned must pass a threshold score in our Cristal risk management system for three consecutive months. The scores are awarded at the end of the audit process which is at the core of the Cristal system. Detailed audit reports are given to the establishment along with details of areas for improvement to ensure that they continue to operate in a safe manner.

The Cristal/ E-Cristal risk management system is the first electronic health and safety auditing and corrective action tracking tool. The food hygiene and safety module provides the basic element with further modules covering general safety, fire safety, pool safety, legionella and even hurricane/ business continuity modules.
