Chateau De Mornac is located on the Avert peninsula, in the medieval village of Mornac-sur-Seudre. Decorated in a traditional style with a modern twist, the house features a large fitted kitchen which leads to a spacious dining room, complete with grand open fireplace. The seven bedrooms - four of which are ensuite - are spread between the ground and first floor. There is ample space to relax, with a comfortable lounge, separate sitting room and a billiard room to choose from. Broadband internet access is provided.
The lovely outdoor terrace is perfect for al fresco dining and offers fabulous views across the countryside. Guests will enjoy the spacious, well maintained grounds, complete with enclosed 12.5m swimming pool and solarium. Access to the river flowing through the garden is protected by fencing and horses can often be seen grazing nearby.
The 12th Century village of Mornac-sur-Seudre offers a good selection of shops and cafes as well as a twice weekly market and beautiful Romanesque church.
